SWING FOR THE SHELTER (click here for the Swing flyer) - Cool, elegant, smooth, and classic – that will be both the music and mood at “Swing For the Shelter” on August 6th with the Sister Bay waterfront as our backdrop. We are planning an evening of great food, entertainment, and dancing to benefit the Door County Humane Society and it’s all going to happen at Waterfront Park in Sister Bay. Big Band sounds played by Mr. Big Note Orchestra from De Pere, the tastiest treats from local restaurants, and a beautiful summer evening will combine to make the Swing for the Shelter a very special event. $75 per ticket. ART DAY FOR ANIMALS at Hands On Art Studio - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Paint a tile for our silo project. A fun day to benefit the Door County Humane Society. Pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, giant hay castle, haunted treasure rides, chicken drop game, lily pad toss, feed and pet our animals. Donations accepted for the DCHS.
