Did you know that only 5% of the Door County Humane Society’s funding comes from the county and various municipalities? Contrary to popular belief, the National Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) does not fund our shelter. We rely almost exclusively on donations from caring community members like you to assist the more than 700 Door County animals that come through the shelter doors each year.

The year of 2017 holds tremendous promise and hope for the Door County Humane Society. During this year we want to provide the community with expanded programs and services, and continue to meet the needs of homeless cats and dogs in the Door County Community. We need your continued help to fulfill this mission. Please support DCHS by becoming a member or renewing your membership for 2017.
